Mn18Cr2 Concave and Mantle are key wear parts used in cone crushers. Material Composition

The work-hardening effect (an effect where the surface metal undergoes rapid plastic deformation when the components are subjected to severe impact, extrusion, or friction from materials during crushing operations, leading to a sharp increase in surface hardness in a short time) endows the surface with high hardness and resistance to wear.

The addition of chromium optimizes the structure and corrosion resistance. Chromium has a strong affinity for carbon and can preferentially form high-hardness carbides to optimize the structure. Chromium easily forms a dense oxide film on the steel surface, enhancing corrosion resistance and indirectly extending the service life of wear-resistant components.

Taper matching

The crushing wall and concave adopt complementary cone angles to form an annular crushing cavity that is wide at the top and narrow at the bottom. This taper design allows materials to be gradually squeezed and crushed as the moving cone swings after entering from the upper part, with the force evenly distributed along the height of the cavity wall to avoid local stress concentration.


Transition arcs and curved surfaces

Smooth transition arcs or curved surfaces are designed at the feed port, discharge port, and the root of the tooth pattern of the crushing cavity.
